Is Rainbet trusted, legit & safe?

Yeah, it appears so. It has partnered with esports organization Ninjas in Pyjamas for a jersey sponsorship, which shows that this is a platform with legit backing that is not afraid to put itself out there and is looking for mainstream attention. It also seems to be following many of the same steps that top crypto casinos and sportsbooks do, in terms of security and licensing.

A promo image of the sponsorship between esports team ninjas in pyjamas and rainbet

Is Rainbet licensed by any recognized licensing bodies?

Yes, it is licensed by the Anjouan Gaming Authority – ALSI-152406029-FI2. While this was a license that most online gamblers did not know about until two years ago, it has now become the maybe dominant crypto-gambling one with the exodus Curacao saw after the abolishment of its master licensing system and the creation of the Curacao Gaming Control Board. While an Anjouan regulatory approval is not as good as Curacao’s or Malta’s, it is at least better than nothing.

What’s Rainbet’s reputation with players and the wider gambling industry?

Rainbet is a fast-growing site that has primarily amassed positive reviews from gamblers. However, we have seen more than a few complaints about this brand, which is normal. It had an average 3.5 rating on TrustPilot when we posted this Rainbet review.

Despite some negative chatter, it appears that most of this website’s users are happy with the experience this hub delivers, and given that the site is branching off into sponsorship agreements, it does not fear to put itself out there. It also works with credible fiat payment processors and game suppliers, so it would seem that it enjoys a decent level of trustworthiness in the B2B sphere as well.

Rainbet's trustpilot score

Are there any known blacklistings or reported scandals?

We did a quick search for both of these, and Rainbet’s record came up clean. We spotted the standard complaints about slow withdrawals and bonus disputes, but did not see anything that we would raise to the level of a scandal. Not even close.

Have there been any known data breaches?

No public ones that we are aware of.

Does the site handle player data privacy effectively?

We would say it does, as per its privacy policy, it claims that it only collects necessary personal information, and for anything personal it gathers, Rainbet’s team will only share with third-party service providers under confidentiality agreements.

This platform notes that it complies with GDPR for EEA users, and like the majority of higher-end platforms of its caliber, it offers rights like data access, correction, and erasure. Of course, all this sounds good on paper, but effectiveness depends on implementation. Thankfully, we have not read about any major privacy violations connected to Rainbet.

Can players access login and transaction histories?

You can view your bet and transfer history at Rainbet, which does not let you review your login records. Maybe this is possible after you submit such a request to the support team, though, but the general terms did not mention this.

Rainbets website's transaction tab

Are there any credible and recurring player complaints about Rainbet?

The usual: issues related to withdrawal processing, bonus use, and the occasional customer support delays. These are not unique to Rainbet, and while we are sure some are valid, many that we read did not look super credible. We should note that this site does not get listed at many top watchdog platforms, and where we found it, it did not have many user reviews. On Reddit, there were standard gripes like those already mentioned.

What levels of blockchain-specific security will I get playing at Rainbet?

The site operates with hot wallets and uses an automated system for that process. It has a Let’s Encrypt (E6) server certificate and the industry-standard encryption (Elliptic Curve Public Key). Rainbet allows you to set up 2FA but does not go into any detail on specific blockchain security measures it employs, if it implements any.

Has Rainbet won any crypto-gambling industry awards?

We have not caught Rainbet’s name at any of the recent award shows run from major authorities like EGR, SBC, SiGMA, or GGA.

Is the longevity of Rainbet a factor to consider before playing?

While it is true that this is a somewhat newer platform, it is not your usual fresh crypto casino. It has displayed good reliability and financial stability right off the bat, so we would not associate many of the risks we usually link with unproven operators.

What levels of community engagement are evident?

There is a public chat at Rainbet, but you cannot use this without first wagering on this site. The window also asks you to be respectful and polite, avoiding hate speech, spamming, begging, or self-promotion. If you engage in any of these, then you may get threatened with account closure.

The official Rainbet Telegram – https://t.me/rainbetcom – had around five thousand and five hundred members. The X page for this brand has thirty-one thousand followers, and the official Insta has over one hundred thousand. The latter is impressive, but we thought the official Telegram and X communities would be bigger than they were.

Rainbet's Telegram channel page

Are the terms and conditions clear and fair?

We have heard a gambler say that the rules here are not as good as at Stake. Yet, we do not see them as dramatically different. We do not like the $50 max cap on key/affiliate bonus winnings, the no operator liability for tech glitches, which is somewhat normal, and that funds can get seized if overdrawn due to Rainbet’s error. That said, overall, the terms here are okay. You even get a complaints process with a ten-day response window, which few crypto casinos outright outline.

Does Rainbet provide players with responsible gambling-related resources?

There are no profile tools, and self-exclusion here is possible through the Responsible Gambling page, which you can access by clicking the link for it in the site footer. Once on that section of the Rainbet website, you can request a self-exclusion ban, which will lead to an email being sent to your inbox for you to confirm this request. We did this and got an email that asked us to verify our desire for a twenty-four-hour cool-down period, which noted that after this timeframe expired, we would get a new email with the next steps – what we would like to do next.

What levels of anonymity can a player at Rainbet expect?

Technically, you cannot use a VPN here, and if you must acknowledge that you are over eighteen, then it is likely that at some point you will get asked to prove this. That scenario is likely to pop up. The site staff say they will not initiate a KYC process unless they spot something shady, and they also let you exclude your username from public leaderboards and various tables here.

What are the account registration requirements?

You must be over eighteen or the legal gambling age in your jurisdiction and have the legal capacity to enter into binding agreements. Rainbet lets you join through a standard simple registration process where you enter your email and then input a username and password, or you can hop aboard here using your MetaMask, Steam, or Google credentials.

What are the KYC requirements?

In general, KYC verification is not required at Rainbet for playing or withdrawing. According to the management here, you can use this website and withdraw funds without completing any identity verification procedure. However, they added that they may request KYC verification if they detect any suspicious activity linked to your account.

Still, the terms and conditions detail a KYC process where you must submit a government-issued photo ID, a selfie with the ID, and a recent proof of address. You also have a four-level verification procedure outlined in your settings page here, where in the final stage, a source of income is demanded. Verification must be completed within three days if the team here requested it, and they can take up to seven business days to verify your identity. Of course, this is if they give you a KYC request, which the team here promises they won’t unless you do something suspicious.

Know that accounts get limited until the KYC process passes.

What’s the game selection like at Rainbet?

We summed up all the numbers next to the game providers working with Rainbet, and we came up with a figure well over five thousand games. These come from thirty-seven companies and get organized in the following main categories – slots, blackjack, roulette, baccarat, game shows, live casinos, and originals. You can search for titles you are familiar with, but the sorting options here are pretty poor. You can only view the products on a page by ones recommended to you coming up first, popular games, newest releases, and you can order them in alphabetical or reverse alphabetical order.

Are there any notable provably fair games?

You can play some provably fair-style titles from providers like EvoPlay, BGaming, and OnlyPlay on this site, but we are pretty sure none of these include provable fairness.

Which software providers provide the games?

They are Spinomenal, Pragmatic Play, VoltEnt (Wazdan), Play’n GO, Red Tiger, Habanero, NetEnt, Endorphina, Booming Games, PGSoft, Red Rake Gaming, Hacksaw, Blueprint, OnlyPlay, Relax, Nolimit, Amigo Gaming, Octoplay, Belatra, Thunderkick, Retro Gaming, BGaming, Big Time Gaming, Smartsoft, OneTouch, Popiplay, AvatarUX, SlotMill, Clawbuster, EvoPlay, Fantasma, Backseat Gaming, Print Studios, Bullshark Games, NowNow, and Kitsune.

Are any RTP (Return to Player) or payout percentages published?

For some games, you get detailed overviews of all the main game specs, which you only see after you load them. The specs detailed are usually – Developer, Release Date, RTP, Volatility, Reels, Rows, Paylines, Minimum Bet, Maximum Bet, Max Win, Bonus Features, Wilds, Mobile Compatibility, and Demo Mode.

What original games can you play here?

They are Dice, Limbo, Blackjack, Mines, Keno, Plinko, Case Battles, and Case Opening.

Dice is a classic version of this famed crypto casino game where you predict whether a random number rolled will be above/below a chosen threshold. Limbo is another simple number-based game that most experienced crypto gamblers know, and where you choose a target multiplier and win if the number that comes up, generated by an RNG, matches or exceeds it.

Blackjack needs no explanation; Mines is another provably fair stable game inspired by Minesweeper. Plinko features a pegboard where a ball/disk drops and bounces off the pegs, landing in a multiplier slot at the bottom, which is your reward. Case Battles and Case Opening are influenced by games made popular in skin gambling communities. In Case Opening you buy cases that contain randomized rewards, and in Battles, multiple players open the same type of case in a head-to-head format.

Are high roller bets allowed at Rainbet?

Yes. You have Evolution’s Salon Privé lobby at your disposal here, which is found in several crypto high roller casinos. This lobby features blackjack tables that accept wagers up to $10,000 per hand.

Pragmatic Play’s Speed Auto Roulette is also on hand at this platform, and it allows the same maximum stake.

Are there any progressive jackpot games?

Not really. You cannot find any progressive juggernauts here. For example, Rainbet hosts two Divine Fortune games from NetEnt, but not the original, the progressive monster.

Are there any demo games you can play for free?

For most software products, this is possible by activating a fun play toggle under the game window.

Are there tutorials for playing games?

You can find some general game articles on the blog section – https://blog.rainbet.com.

What bonuses does Rainbet provide?

Rainbet offers two deposit promotion types for new users. These are Wager Lock and No Wager Lock bonuses. Both require a minimum deposit of $30 and a maximum of $700, and they must get claimed at the time of your first deposit. The first promo, the Wager Lock one, gives you bonuses on your first three deposits. These are matches of 100%, 50%, and 100%, each with twenty free spins. The bonuses get locked here until you meet the set wagering requirement. Hence the name.

The No Wager Lock option offers up to a 100% bonus, gradually unlocked as you bet, calculated by a formula based on wager volume. It has no max bet cap.

These two promotions have the same RTP game restrictions. That is the rule that only games with an RTP below 97.4% are allowed. Plus, the max bet during the bonus gets limited to 2% of the deposit.

You have weekly and monthly races at Rainbet, which we will tell you about below, and challenges.

The Rainbet sportsbook has distinct bonuses, like boosts. To see these, you must open the Rainbet betting page, and you will be able to check out banners for the offers run.

Are there regular promotional offers besides standard bonuses?

You have Rainbet challenges. These are time-limited promotions that let you get extra rewards for completing specific goals in specific games. Each challenge has clear targets, usually a requirement for you to hit a distinct in-game multiplier with a minimum bet. The first player to meet it wins the challenge and its corresponding prize.

Are the bonus terms transparent?

Yes. They are okay. There are not a whole lot of bonuses here, but those that are featured have straightforward stipulations that experienced gamers will instantly understand.

Are there any wagering requirements/rollover rules attached to bonus use?

The Wager Lock bonus has an x40 requirement, max bet limits (2% of deposit), and the No Wager Lock promotion details progressive bonus unlocking. The latter uses this formula: Bonus Unlocked = Wager Amount × 1% × 20%.

Are there any cashback deals?

Outside the rebates given out through the Rewards system – no.

Are any tournaments or competitions run as promos?

You get Weekly & Monthly Races at Rainbet, which are your run-of-the-mill competitive leaderboards where participants rank based on their total wagers over the past week or month. Know that here, sportsbook bets get weighted three times heavier than other games, and the prizes get distributed manually.

Oh, let us not forget to tell you about Rainbet’s $20,000 Weekly Raffle. To enter in this draw, you must go through the KYC verification process here or make a deposit. You can get tickets for this draw by playing games or for free. You get a ticket on the house and collect additional ones by wagering ($500 = 1 ticket). Winners get selected randomly (more tickets = higher odds), with prizes auto-credited.

Are there any native tokens?

Nope.

What VIP or loyalty program benefits does Rainbet offer players?

Recently, Rainbet upgraded its loyalty scheme, which it calls its Rewards System. The new version nearly doubles the rewards provided, and it expands its rank levels while adding new bonus types. You can now receive six types of rewards, influenced by your recent wagering activity and results.

Rakeback is supplied every fifteen minutes, giving you a small percentage of your total wagers back. No percentages get listed for this rebate, but we know it also contributes automatically to your Daily Reload, a new bonus that you can claim every eight hours.

Daily Bonuses are available every day, and the longer you wait (up to three), the more they accumulate. The growth depends on how much you’ve wagered and how much you have won. The Weekly and Monthly Bonuses function similarly, just with extended periods in play. There is also a Pre-Monthly Bonus available on the 16th of each month, based on your last thirty days of wagering. You must be at least ranked as a Silver user to access it. Speaking of ranks, there are seven general ones, with the first five tiers – Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum, and Diamond having four to five sub-levels here. You need net wagering of $4,000 to reach the Bronze I stage, and betting billion dollars or more to get to the final tier of this system – Infernal Diamond.

Rainbet also introduced RakeBoosts as of late, which are temporary multipliers that increase the value of your rewards for a set time. The Rewards System on this site too includes Chest Keys tied to some form of loot or mystery rewards. So, that is something new.

Are there crypto-specific incentives? Staking rewards?

No, there are not.

What crypto payment methods can players use?

WETH (Wrapped Ether), BNB (BNB Smart Chain), XLM (Stellar), LTC (Litecoin), BTC (Bitcoin), SHIB (Shiba Inu), MATIC (Polygon), DAI (Dai), SOL (Solana), ETH (Ethereum), PNUT (Peanut the Squirrel), HBAR (Hedera Hashgraph), ZEC (Zcash), TRX (TRON), USDT (Tether), PENGU (Pudgy Penguins), USDC (USD Coin), DOGE (Dogecoin), TON (Toncoin), MATIC_POLYGON (Polygon), XRP (Ripple), ADA (Cardano), and LINK (Chainlink).

The footer advertises the use of Interac as well, which is a Canadian fiat payment method. For some reason, we had access to it as a fiat pick, that and Pix, even though we do not reside in regions commonly associated with these options. In the payment window, you could also redeem gift cards here.

An image of some of Rainbet's accepted cryptocurrencies, their logos.

Is there any crypto wallet integration?

Yes, but MetaMask only.

Are there fast withdrawal processing times at Rainbet?

The chatbot here told us that withdrawals are typically processed within fifteen minutes on this site. Yet, after talking to a customer support member, we were informed that the standard range is ten to thirty minutes per transaction.

Are there any withdrawal limits?

The minimum crypto withdrawal amount at Rainbet is $15. There is no defined upward limit.

An image of Rainbet's payment window, the withdrawal tab.

Are there any payment processing fees?

The staff said they have no fees. They do not charge anything extra for transactions, adding that the network fee is your responsibility. Yet, we saw in the withdrawal tab that there is a priority fee option, so we do not quite get this. If the support team gave us the correct info, why would anyone pay a priority fee if most transfers here happen in under fifteen minutes?

Does Rainbet Casino have a general deposit rollover rule?

All deposits at Rainbet must be wagered one time over before this platform allows a withdrawal stemming from them.

Are there any other non-standard/questionable payment-related conditions?

Nothing that we would classify as dealbreakers, or super frustrating for most, aside from some vague definitions of abuse leading to fund forfeiture. Nonetheless, we are used to seeing that, as most online operators give themselves lots of leeway in how they handle accounts and what they deem acceptable.

Does the site deliver a strong user experience?

Yes. We explain why below.

A quick example of some of the UI at Rainbet's website, the game sorting and searching options.

Website design

The design here is an obvious take on Stake. Now, we are not saying that Stake came up with the dark dull blue theme that so many crypto casinos have adopted over the years, but it did make it famous, as it is the most popular site that uses it. Even the fonts are super similar. The graphics here are the usual minimalistic ones, and you have light blues and greens for contrast. The original games’ graphics are quite vibrant, striking a nice contrast as well, and we did enjoy the easy-on-the-eyes aesthetic this website boasts, no matter how unoriginal it is.

Ease of use

When this site debuted, in its press release, an unnamed spokesperson for the brand noted that this is a casino with an easy-to-navigate interface. That is true, as the layout here should be quite familiar to most online gamblers, with a left-side menu, a footer section, a top bar with a cashier button, and a mini-panel section from which you can access your profile options, bonuses, and notifications. Everything should feel familiar at Rainbet, as this hub has not tried to break any rules in terms of how it presents what it has to offer.

Speed & technical performance

No problems here, aside from several of Evolution’s games reporting errors when we tried to play them. But we guess this is an issue on Evolution’s part, not Rainbet’s fault.

Customizable options

You can change the interface language, choose to show bets publicly, and display statistics on your profile. Oh, you can also favorite games. That is about it, as far as what Rainbet allows you in terms of customization.

What’s the Customer Support like at Rainbet?

The help we got through the Rainbet live chat was okay. The window first tried to assist us through a chatbot, but once we told this AI it did not answer our inquiry, it connected us to an agent. This person did answer our question, but quite succinctly and without much enthusiasm.

The live chat window also houses the Rainbet help center, which divides its content of only twelve articles into these five groups: Deposits and Withdrawals, Reward System, Promotions, Sportsbook, and Account.

This site’s help email is support@rainbet.com, and it promises responses in two hours max. We tested it and got a reply within thirty minutes.

An example of a Rainbet help center article.

Mobile gaming experience

There is no Rainbet app, but you get a Rainbet mobile version viewable through all smartphone browsers, which has a well-optimized layout consistent with modern crypto casinos. The interface on a smaller screen works well, with a top balance bar, deposit button, and quick access to wallet functions, and a navigation bar at the bottom that allows smooth switching between core sections. These are Menu, Casino, Sports, and Chat. You also get access to a search function there.

Design-wise, on mobile, the UX here is clean, responsive, and built for touchscreen use. It does not have a lot of clutter in general, but the game icons get crammed together in the game lobby, with easily tappable buttons and minimal clutter. They get stacked in a four-column layout, which is too tight, making much of their text unreadable. The BETBY sportsbook looks like you would expect, pretty great.

As a whole, the mobile site mirrors the desktop functionality, but could use some slight improvements, in particular, in how the games get displayed.

The mobile version of the Rainbet website presented on a smartphone.

Is Rainbet available in any local languages?

The site’s interface is viewable in English, Spanish, French, Japanese, Portuguese, Russian, and Turkish.

How does Rainbet compare against its closest competitors?

Rainbet makes no bones about trying to be like Stake.com. While we would not suggest such a strategy, hey, if you are trying to mimic someone, why not try to be like the most famous crypto casino of them all?

Rainbet may support fewer coins than Stake and have fewer games, but its originals stack up okay to Stake’s, and loyalty rewards are comparable. Still, we would not call it a rival and rank it further down our table. It is a good crypto gaming and betting site, but lacks many of the elements that the top dogs carry.

What countries are restricted from playing?

Rainbet restricts players from the United States and its territories, France and its territories, the Netherlands and all constituent countries of the Kingdom of the Netherlands (including Bonaire, Sint Eustatius, Saba, Aruba, Curaçao, and Sint Maarten), Australia and its territories, Austria, Germany, the United Kingdom and Northern Ireland, and Spain.

Again, VPN usage on this site is strictly prohibited. If you use it to bypass its geo-blocks, you risk getting your account closed and your funds in it forfeited.

An promo banner advertising some of the main attractions of Rainbet's website.

Conclusion

We like that this website has different original games like Case Opening and Case Battles, which is technically not a distinct game, per se. It has some limitations in multiple areas, but it is a versatile enough platform with a BETBY betting page.

There is an absence of progressive jackpot spinners here, and third-party provably fair games are a notable gap in its gaming lobby. Yet, if the no KYC marketing is accurate, then this is a sin most of our readers are likely to forgive. Especially now that Rainbet upped its Rewards System, which includes Rakeback and RakeBoosts. It is innovative, though likely to get seen as less structured than some.

We would say the reviews for Rainbet have been predominantly positive, but for some reason, we thought the profile of this brand would be higher than it is. Few reviewers of our rank have covered this website, which has left us confused. It is a good one that has entered into the eSports arena with a sponsorship deal with an established team and seems legit.

While presenting a strong foundation, it is not a site that is very alluring, as it feels a bit generic and like a Stake rip-off. It lacks character and its own sense of identity. Overall, there is nothing overly negative we can say about Rainbet, other than that its team has neglected their blog, but it does not do anything special to stand out. Good but not great is what we would call this brand, and we think that is a fair assessment.

Pros:

  • No KYC
  • Good game catalog
  • BETBY sportsbook
  • Reward system with Rakeback

Cons:

  • Poor game sorting options
  • No progressive games
  • Lack of responsible gambling tools
  • Few traditional-style bonuses
