An Awesome Autumn Promises Sequel Slots Aplenty
The end of summer is one of the busiest times of the year for new slot launches. Before too long, top bitcoin casino software providers will be rolling out their Halloween “spooktaculars”, followed shortly afterwards by seasonal slots just in time for Christmas. We’ve got a bit of time until we get to those games, though. Before you start carving up pumpkins and filling your stockings, take a brief look at these upcoming titles at your favourite BTC betting sites.
John Hunter Continues His Travels
A firm rival to Play ‘n Go’s Rich Wilde series of slots, Pragmatic Plays John Hunter slots have given their counterparts a run for their money. October sees the latest game launch in the latter’s series as the titular explorer heads to the Caribbean in John Hunter and the Quest for Bermuda Riches. Packing a non-progressive jackpot worth 5,000x a stake, and with varying RTP rates, stretching from a floor of 94.5% up to a ceiling of 96.51% (depending on the Bitcoin casino you play at), the game looks like it will be all standard fare, and offer little we haven’t already seen in preceding John Hunter slots.
Play ‘n Go’s Gains Another Rich Wilde Slot
John Hunter is off to the Caribbean and Play ‘n Go’s Rich Wilde is heading in the opposite direction, to Asia. The latest entry in Play ‘n Go’s series is Rich Wilde and the Wandering City. Debuting a month later than its rival (in November), little is known about the game at this moment in time. Considering that almost all Rich Wilde slots feature highly volatile action and relatively samey gameplay, we wouldn’t be surprised if this upcoming release doesn’t break the mould in terms of new features, either. Rumour has it that the game will also be packing a non-progressive prize worth 5,000x a bet, so there could be little to separate this slot from Pragmatic Play’s latest John Hunter entry.
Yggdrasil Revisits Golden Fish Tank
Yggdrasil has taken over five years to revisit its popular Golden Fish Tank slot, but a return is on the cards. October sees the launch of Golden Fish Tank 2: Gigablox. As its title suggests, the Scandinavian software developer will be utilising colossal symbols to pep up the gameplay in this sequel. A 6-reel, 4,096 ways to win payline system, an RTP of 96%, and prizes worth up to 5,000x a bet barely scratch the surface of what the game can offer. Expect to see a wealth of free spin modifiers, including extra wilds, 2x multipliers, expanding reels, super-stacked symbols, and additional free spins to boot.
BetSoft Heads Back to Paris
This autumn seems to be the season for sequels. Following a pattern firmly established in the other three games we’ve covered, BetSoft Gaming is also looking to unveil a sequel slot. This time, they are set to showcase Return to Paris. Any bitcoin bettor who has had a crack at BetSoft’s range will instantly recognise the theme. Return to Paris is, of course, a direct sequel to A Night in Paris, the sometimes-progressive game from the master of 3D slots.
BetSoft is covertly keeping the details of this upcoming slot under wraps for now. However, rest assured that we’re already on the case and eager to bring you any snippets of information as soon as we get a sniff.
Honourable Mentions
Not every slot set to debut at crypto casinos throughout autumn is set to be a sequel. Several other top titles have been announced, and some can be played as free-to-play demos at selected software providers’ websites today. Here is the best of the rest…
After launching their latest John Hunter slot, Pragmatic Play aims for a November launch for their cartoony Wild West slot, Bounty Gold. Rival provider, Play ‘n Go, has other releases planned, too. A trio of fantasy-themed games should debut in November, in the form of Tales of Asgard: Loki’s Fortune, Merlin and the Ice Queen, and The Legend of the Ice Dragon slot.
If you’re a fan of the biggest providers in the business, then keep your eyes peeled for Playtech and Rarestone Gaming’s Mega Fire Blaze: Big Circus. This October release will be joined by Playtech’s Prince of Persia inspired Empire Treasures: Pride of Persia slot with its freezing wild free spin bonus and 100-line engine. Admittedly, this game is a sequel, too, following on from Wild Crusade, and Vikings.
Microgaming has announced a flurry of new slots, too, including Hyper Star, Plenty of Presents (here come those Christmas slots) and 11 Enchanting Relics, but we’re more excited about Leprechaun Links. Developed alongside Slingshot Studios, the game offers a Power Stacks mechanic, Link & Win re-spins, and a top prize worth 25,000x a stake.
