Tron’s average casino deposit sits at $2.0K over our latest 90-day on-chain pull, more than double Ethereum’s $831, the biggest gap between any two chains we track. That’s the headline number. The median tells a smaller story, $87 on Tron against $59 on Ethereum, real, but nowhere near as dramatic. Whenever those two figures diverge this much, the average is being pulled somewhere the typical depositor isn’t.
The Full Chain Comparison
Ethereum and Tron are the only two chains in this dataset current enough to draw conclusions from. Polygon and Solana both show real activity, but our collection is stale on both, Polygon by 4 days, Solana by 29, so their figures below are historical, not current.
| Chain | Deposits | Active wallets | Avg deposit | Median deposit | 99th pct |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Tron | $2.76B | 262,508 | $2.0K | $87 | $25.0K |
| Ethereum | $2.53B | 306,192 | $831 | $59 | $9.0K |
| Solana (stale) | $48.8M | 40,218 | $431 | $75 | $4.6K |
| Polygon (stale) | $106.6M | 162,403 | $171 | $6 | $2.3K |
Even against Solana and Polygon’s historical figures, Tron’s average and 99th percentile sit well clear of every other chain, current or not.
One Casino Explains Most of the Gap
Stake alone accounts for $2.06B of the $2.76B in total Tron deposits tracked in this window, 74.6% of the entire chain’s value. Stake’s own average deposit on Tron runs $3.4K, well above the chain-wide figure, and at that scale it drags the whole chain average up with it. Take Stake out of the picture and Tron’s advantage over Ethereum shrinks considerably.
Which Casinos Actually Skew the Tron Average
Stake isn’t the only outlier, and the spread across the rest of the market is wide. Some casinos run average Tron deposits well above the chain-wide figure, others sit far below it.
| Casino | Tron deposits | Avg deposit | Median deposit |
|---|---|---|---|
| Yeet | $34.1M | $13.6K | $101 |
| Stake | $2.06B | $3.4K | $180 |
| MetaWin | $11.1M | $3.2K | $271 |
| BC Game | $140.2M | $1.9K | $243 |
| Gamdom | $131.9M | $1.4K | $147 |
| Razed | $10.4M | $861 | $27 |
| 1Win | $243.9M | $536 | $18 |
| Duelbits | $788.4K | $66 | $0.33 |
Yeet’s average Tron deposit, $13.6K, is actually higher than Stake’s, the highest of any casino on any chain in this dataset. But it comes from a small pool, just 403 wallets and 2,513 transactions across the window, a handful of large depositors choosing Tron specifically rather than a shift in how Yeet’s broader player base behaves. Duelbits sits at the opposite end, a $66 average and a 33-cent median, essentially a different market running on the same chain.
Why Tron Skews Big in the First Place
Tron carries more USDT volume than any other chain we track, and its per-transaction fees are close to nothing regardless of size. That combination makes it the natural chain for large stablecoin transfers, not just routine player deposits. The 99th percentile deposit on Tron is $25.0K, against $9.0K on Ethereum, nearly three times higher, consistent with a chain used for moving serious money as much as it’s used for regular play.
That’s not unique to gambling either. Tron is one of the chains most used for large USDT transfers across crypto generally, exchanges and OTC desks route big stablecoin movements through it for the same reason casino depositors do, fees that don’t scale with size. A casino’s Tron average partly reflects a habit that already exists everywhere else USDT moves, not something specific to how casino players behave.
Ethereum Runs More Transactions Through More Wallets
Despite the smaller total value, $2.53B against Tron’s $2.76B, Ethereum processes more than double the transaction count, 3,039,059 against Tron’s 1,399,899, and reaches more people doing it, 306,192 active wallets against Tron’s 262,508. Tron’s total comes from fewer wallets and fewer transactions each moving more. Ethereum’s comes from a broader base transacting more often for less each time. Neither shape is wrong, they’re just different markets running on different chains.
What This Means If You’re Choosing a Chain
None of this means Tron is only for large depositors. Half the wallets on this chain deposited $87 or less across the entire 90-day window, that’s what a median actually tells you, so if the chain-wide average made Tron look like a big-spender domain, it isn’t one for most of the people using it. The chain’s reputation for handling serious volume is real, but it’s earned largely by one operator and a handful of large individual depositors elsewhere, not by every Tron casino running at that scale. If you’re depositing a typical amount, the choice between Tron and Ethereum comes down to fees and confirmation speed, covered in full on our Tron casinos page.
