Is Thrill trusted, legit & safe?
I’m comfortable in venturing that Thrill is as safe and legit as any of the top crypto casinos it will be competing against. I say this primarily owing to insider info, as we have information that some credible names in the crypto gambling industry are behind this brand and that it has taken all the industry safety precautions to ensure user data is secure.
One thing that gives us pause regarding the credibility of this platform is that it lists an outdated license on one page, and it mentions two different operating companies in charge of this brand on different sections of the Thrill website. Given the operation is still in its development phase, apparent errors like this are understandable and I’d suggest not worth paying an overly amount of notice. I’ll keep an eye open for corrections, though.
Is Thrill licensed by any recognized licensing bodies?
On the AML Policy page, it states that this brand operates under regulatory approval from Curaçao Interactive Limited N.V., which is a Curaçao master license holder that is no longer active. This discrepancy is an anomaly that needs clarification.
Things get more confusing. On the general terms page, it states that the Curaçao Gaming Control Board has given a valid Certificate of Operation to Thrill.com, while its license process concludes – OGL/2024/1052/0508. I assume the latter is correct, but another anomaly to clarify.
It’s likely these anomalies are due to delays in the CGCB. I have inside information that an Anjouan license is active, too, but there’s no detailed info available on that at this stage.
What’s Thrill’s reputation with players and the wider gambling industry?
Given we’ve not seen a full launch yet, it’s not surprising that reputational factors concerning real players are in short supply. Likewise, in the gambling industry, Thrill is flying a little under the radar until the full value of its offering becomes concrete.
However, Thrill’s initial marketing focus is on presenting the platform as ‘The Future Of Gaming’. If the brand can pull that off alongside all the myriad elements that make a crypto casino valuable for players – and there would seem to be strong chances they can – then clearly we can expect reputational factors with both players and industry bodies to be of the highest order.
Are there any known blacklistings or reported scandals?
Clearly, a site that has not yet/just launched is extremely unlikely to have any association with blacklistings or reported scandals. Based on all I know about the names driving this platform, it will be a mighty big surprise if anything negative comes up in the future.
Have there been any known data breaches?
No, because it has yet to debut. When it does, it will have the usual gambling site security intended to prevent data breaches, all covered in more detail below.
Does the site handle player data privacy effectively?
Thrill’s Privacy Policy points to multiple layers of protection regarding how it manages player data. It has encryption for all data transfers and looks to comply with Curaçao data protection laws that align with sector regulatory standards to maintain legal accountability. All information collected here is collected with explicit consent and on a lawful basis. You get granted rights to correct inaccuracies or request data deletion. You can do this by filing such a request to support@thrill.com.
Can players access login and transaction histories?
By the time this site goes live, both options will be available. I saw there is a sessions tab in the security section of your Thrill profile, but it was greyed out at the time of my scan. This feature will be enabled when you get to test this site. The same goes for the transaction option, which was also greyed out for us.
Are there any credible and recurring player complaints about Thrill?
There are none, given that this brand was not publicly available at the time of posting this Thrill review. Again, based on all the factors indicating significant potential for Thrill.com to take a place on most top crypto casino lists, you wouldn’t be anticipating notable levels of valid player complaints.
What levels of blockchain-specific security will I get playing at Thrill?
In the AML Policy, it cites that all crypto transactions at Thrill are analyzed via Chainalysis. That’s software used to spot any signs of fraud. Thrill has a Google Trust Services (WE1) server certificate, and this hub will have 2FA active when it officially launches. There were no other mentions of blockchain or any other security measures here.
Has Thrill won any crypto-gambling industry awards?
It’s early days for Thrill to win any industry awards. The promise seems clear, though, once players have had the opportunity to get a taste for this platform.
Given the competition, it seems likely that it could be at least a couple of years before it receives any wide sector recognition and becomes eligible for top sphere honors.
Is the longevity of Thrill a factor to consider before playing?
Based on the info obtained as background for my analysis, this brand is run by credible people, and its management team consists of individuals who have worked for some of the industry’s top crypto-gambling sites. I cannot mention which ones, but can reassure you that this will be a website that, despite its newness, no one should have doubts about whether this is a credible operation or not, as it is not one out to scam anyone.
Longevity is proven over time. I anticipate that Thrill stands at the outset of a long-lived journey as a provider of crypto casino gambling services.
What levels of community engagement are evident?
Thrill is looking to build a sense of community. It has launched an official Telegram channel, a Discord server, and has profiles on Instagram and Telegram.
Of course, all of these are underdeveloped due to the newness of this brand. The Discord server only had thirty members, which is not that surprising, as Thrill was still in its beta stage when I wrote this review.
Are the terms and conditions clear and fair?
They are written in straightforward enough language and have some detailed sections on account use and payments. That said, this is not the most in-depth terms page I have seen, not even close. It’s shorter than most, and it gives Thrill broad discretion on things like account suspensions, voiding bets, and so on. All that is pretty standard and nothing out of the ordinary, although surely some of you will argue they are unfair, and while I may agree, that’s the way the cookie crumbles.
Does Thrill provide players with responsible gambling-related resources?
There was no sign of such tools in my site profile, but please note that not everything was activated there when evaluating this platform. Per its terms, Thrill commits to responsible gambling, and you can self-exclude here by contacting a support agent. That person should activate such a ban on your account as soon as possible after you put in your request.
What levels of anonymity can a player at Thrill expect?
Not much. There is a chance you can get hit with a KYC request here, and Thrill does not allow VPN use. As we mentioned earlier, it uses Chainalysis, which hinders crypto casino anonymity by enabling transaction tracing to support regulatory compliance. Thrill proclaims that it prohibits anonymity-enhancing technologies.
I could not see if this platform plans on allowing users to gamble in private mode, as those options were blurred out from our profile. That is not anonymity-enhancing per se – it only keeps your wins from being publicly displayed.
What are the account registration requirements?
You must be eighteen years old or the legal gambling age in your jurisdiction to create an account on this site. That is something you can do using your email address or Google credentials. In time, the assumption is you’ll be able to do this as well using your wallet credentials.
What are the KYC requirements?
There is a dedicated AML policy page at Thrill.com, which is not very long. That page outlines that this site may ask you to provide identification documents to verify identity, age, and location. When they do this, it will usually be through a third-party service. However, after talking to the customer service staff, I was told that Thrill does not have any KYC requirements at this point. On asking if such requirements are planned to be added later on, I was told there will be a time when the team here will implement additional controls, but this will be on a case-by-case basis. The AML page notes that deeper checks may be run for high-risk accounts.
What’s the game selection like at Thrill?
There’s a decent game selection. I had no way of counting all the games housed here, but can tell you they come from thirty-one providers, not including the proprietary titles produced for this platform exclusively. These products get organized in the following categories in the left-side menu – Recents, Favourites, Slots, Live Casino, Game Shows, Table Games, New Arrivals, Bonus Buys, Blackjack, Roulette, Baccarat, and Providers.
When you pick a category, on its page, you can sort the featured games by popularity, newness, and in alphabetical order. Additional filtering is allowed, letting you check out, for example, only the slots with a bonus buy option or via the volatility level.
Are there any notable provably fair games?
Aside from the Originals detailed below, you can find some games in the provably fair style from Hacksaw, BGaming, GameArt, and OneTouch here.
Which software providers provide the games?
They are – 3Oaks, AvatarUX, Backseat Gaming, BGaming, Big Time Gaming, Blueprint Gaming, Bullshark Games, Shady Lady, Slotmill, Spinomenal, Thrill Originals, VoltEnt, Endorphina, Evolution Gaming, Fantasma, GameArt, Hacksaw Gaming, Jade Rabbit Studio, Live88, NetEnt, Nolimit City, Novomatic, NowNow Gaming, Octoplay, OneTouch, Peter and Sons, PGSoft, Play’n GO, Pragmatic Play, Quickspin, Red Tiger Gaming, and Relax Gaming.
Are any RTP (Return to Player) or payout percentages published?
Yes. But you have to load a game to see its volatility/variance level and return-to-player setting.
What original games can you play here?
At the time of writing, there were three Thrill originals – Mines, Limbo, and Dice. Nonetheless, it was announced that two more were on their way, with Thrill Plinko and Crash becoming available soon here.
There are several custom-built in-house Original crypto games designed for speed and featuring provably fair results. They have minimalist interfaces that make them blend into the general site ones and have decent auto-play functionalities, allowing you to set a stop on profit and loss orders.
Are high roller bets allowed at Thrill Casino?
Yes, high stakes players will find games here that take high value bets. Certain live tables here, such as those from Pragmatic Play Live, accept wagers up to $20,000 per hand. You also get Evolution’s Salon Privé game at Thrill Casino – a game that’s regularly seen in other high roller Bitcoin casinos.
Are there any progressive jackpot games?
Not really. The slot page filter has a progressive jackpot option, but many of the games that came up when I used it featured modest prizes. There were no spinners here with impressive rewards that keep growing, the likes of Mega Moolah, or something in the above million-dollar prize range.
Are there any demo games you can play for free?
You can enjoy all the software products hosted here in free-play mode, just select Demo when they load.
Are there tutorials for playing games?
I didn’t see any indication of game tutorials. Most crypto casino gamblers are experienced players and know how to play different casino games, so this isn’t a big deal. Nevertheless, it’s possible that Thrill intends to publish some learning material as the site grows.
What bonuses does Thrill provide?
The Thrill promotions page was not live when checking out this hub. Thus, I can’t give you the lowdown on all the promos this brand plans to run. There is info that it plans to offer combo and odds boosts for its BETBY sportsbook, and cashed-out wagers will not be eligible for the combo ones.
Are there regular promotional offers besides standard bonuses?
Cash Drops are a thing at Thrill, and these are surprise rewards claimable with special codes. Based on what I’ve heard, these will be available on Thrill’s social media pages, through affiliates, and at live events.
Challenges should also make their way here soon.
Are the bonus terms transparent?
There was no dedicated bonus terms page available when performing this review, and the bonus section in the general conditions was pretty short. There were no promotions up either, so I couldn’t see any promo-specific stipulations. No chance of answering this question, then, as I saw no bonuses at Thrill. But surely there will be some in the near future.
Are there any wagering requirements/rollover rules attached to bonus use?
Again, there were no standard promotions when running through this brand to give you this early Thrill review.
Are there any cashback deals?
There is Instant Rakeback, which rewards you with a percentage of the house edge in real time on every bet made here. It gets calculated using the following formula = Wager × House Edge × Rakeback %. It never expires and is part of the Thrill rewards scheme, something covered a little further down.
Are any tournaments or competitions run as promos?
There were none during our scan, but it would not surprise us to see Pragmatic Play’s daily Drops & Wins tournaments make their way here, because this site already works with this game supplier, bringing its live and software games in its lobby.
Are there any native tokens?
Not at this time, maybe if this platform takes off, its team will think about creating some.
What VIP or loyalty program benefits does Thrill offer players?
The Thrill Casino loyalty system was not live when I scanned this website. Still, I was able to read up on it using the information it presented in the Help Center articles. Like many traditional VIP clubs, this one as well has gotten structured to reward everyone based on their platform activity. What does that mean? Well, for every bet placed at Thrill.com, you earn experience points, XPs. Naturally, the more XPs you collect, the better perks you get.
During its beta phase, Thrill offered two loyalty tiers. The first was – Early Adopters Tier, automatically available to all. The core benefits here are Instant Rakeback and soon-to-launch features such as daily, weekly, and monthly bonuses. The second, more exclusive tier is the Thrill OG Tier. This one includes a permanent OG badge, enhanced bonus rates, early access to new content, and insider-only offers. Thrill OG members also receive priority on limited-edition items and exclusive invitations.
Know that Instant Rakeback within this scheme gets granted in real time, and more importantly, it does not expire. The Daily Bonus gets calculated from the previous day’s gaming activity and must be claimed within a day. The Weekly Bonuses get calculated from the prior Thursday to Wednesday, with a percentage of net deposit losses returned, claimable each Friday. They are valid for a week. The Monthly Bonus works on the same principle, boasting a thirty-day validity. Additionally, cash drops and other surprise rewards may get distributed through the Thrill reward program. You can track all the available bonuses through the Rewards section on this website.
Are there crypto-specific incentives? Staking rewards?
No. At time of writing there are no known staking rewards or other cryptocurrency-related incentives.
What crypto payment methods can players use?
You can use Tether (USDT), TRON (TRX), Polygon (POL), Bitcoin (BTC), Ripple (XRP), Shiba Inu (SHIB), Ethereum (ETH), Litecoin (LTC), USD Coin (USDC), Dogecoin (DOGE), Binance Coin (BNB), Dai (DAI), Solana (SOL), Bitcoin Cash (BCH), and Chainlink (LINK) at Thrill crypto casino for gaming fun.
Is there any crypto wallet integration?
The Thrill team told us they have no direct wallet integration just yet, but that this will happen very soon, adding that they will be integrating with MetaMask for sure.
Are there fast withdrawal processing times at Thrill?
Thrill’s staff informed us that there are instant withdrawal processing times here, transactions at Thrill get processed automatically and should go through as quickly as the used networks will allow.
If your withdrawal on this site is delayed/missing, the Help Center suggests you locate your Transaction ID (TXID) in your Thrill profile and check its status on the relevant blockchain explorer. If it says Confirmed but hasn’t arrived, verify the receiving wallet’s address, network compatibility, and memo/tag. If your transfer does not go through in a few hours, then you should reach out to Thrill support, asking them for assistance.
Are there any withdrawal limits?
The minimum withdrawal limits at Thrill are: Bitcoin – 0.00002504 BTC, Ethereum – 0.001 ETH, Ethereum-based USDT – 2.5 USDT, USDC – 2.5 USDC, DAI – 2.5 DAI, LINK – 0.0983 LINK, SHIB – 78,795.09 SHIB; Litecoin – 0.0186 LTC, Dogecoin – 5.4993 DOGE, Tron – 7.8241 TRX, Tron-based USDT – 2.5 USDT; Binance BNB – 0.0034 BNB, Binance USDT – 2.5 USDT, Binance USDC – 2.5 USDC, Binance DAI – 2.5 DAI, Binance SHIB – 78,795.09 SHIB, Binance LINK – 0.0983 LINK; Solana USDT – 2.5 USDT, Solana USDC – 2.5 USDC, SOL – 0.0105 SOL; Polygon USDT – 2.5 USDT, Polygon USDC – 2.5 USDC, POL – 3.5674 POL; Bitcoin Cash – 0.0041 BCH; and Ripple – 1 XRP.
There are no withdrawal maximums at Thrill.
Are there any payment processing fees?
The corresponding withdrawal fees are: 0.00001571 BTC, 0.00067447 ETH, 1 USDT (Ethereum), 1 USDC (Ethereum), 1 DAI (Ethereum), 0.053 LINK (Ethereum), 23,941.65 SHIB (Ethereum); 0.000138 LTC, 0.5215 DOGE, 0.0734 TRX, 1 USDT (Tron); 0.000003 BNB, 1 USDT (Binance), 0.1 USDC (Binance), 0.1 DAI (Binance), 2,394.65 SHIB (Binance), 0.053 LINK (Binance); 0.5 USDT (Solana), 0.5 USDC (Solana), 0.000005 SOL; 1 USDT (Polygon), 0.1 USDC (Polygon), 0.9732 POL; 0.0004 BCH; and 0.0001 XRP.
Does Thrill Casino have a general deposit rollover rule?
I was told that Thrill crypto casino does not have such a rule, which seems strange, as I cannot remember when was the last time I encountered a crypto gambling site that did not impose this kind of condition. Thus, no universal rule applies to standard deposits on this hub, a true rarity.
Are there any other non-standard/questionable payment-related conditions?
I didn’t like that Thrill imposes a strict no-chargeback policy. The site makes users responsible for any mistakes they make regarding transactions, which is okay, but what was not OK was that if someone sends funds to your account by mistake, or they land there through a technical error, if you take them out, unaware of the mistake, you owe those funds. That makes it mandatory that you carefully monitor all transfers from and to your balance.
There is also a lack of a recovery mechanism on this platform; at least, I did not read of any such option. That contrasts with some crypto casino platforms we’ve reviewed that offer support for such errors, usually for deposits over $5,000.
Does the site deliver a strong user experience?
Yes, as this site has a simple UI that is pleasing to look at.
Website design
The site uses a default dark theme, which you can change. It has a dark grey (a bit dull bluish) background with neon green accents that align with the modern minimalistic aesthetics the design team was going for. The default look feels great as it reduces eye strain, and it appeals to a younger, tech-savvy audience. Plus, it gives off a futuristic, high-energy vibe, consistent with the Thrill branding.
The typography is clean, with bold sans-serif fonts, and simple icons that could use some work. Some of the elements on these are too small, and they get lost when resized too small. We will add that the game icons here are nicely stylized with glowing highlights that enhance their visual appeal.
Ease of use
The sidebar and top bar provide a logical navigational flow that is commonplace now in the online gambling realm. The side menu lets you switch between gaming/betting categories, while the top bar lets you control your payments and access your profile options. On the game pages, you have Sort and Filter options for customization, along with a search function. Under these are the filtered/sorted gaming products organized in the standard grid pattern.
You cannot really collapse the left-side menu in full; you can only lower its size. As far as intuitiveness, everything here is straightforward, with a responsive layout that works well on smaller screens.
Speed & technical performance
Thrill Casino displayed good load speeds and almost no problems during testing. There were some issues making the sportsbook come up here, and its drop-down menu was empty, which I assume was the case on account of the Thrill team ironing out the kinks before the official launch.
Customizable options
You can select between a dark and light theme here, favorite games you love playing for quick access, and have your funds get displayed in cash, in the following fiat currencies – United States Dollar, Euro, Indian Rupee, Japanese Yen, Argentine Peso, Brazilian Real, Mexican Peso, Indonesian Rupiah, Chinese Yuan, Danish Krone, Canadian Dollar, South Korean Won, Philippine Peso, Turkish Lira, New Zealand Dollar, Chilean Peso, Russian Ruble, Nigerian Naira, Peruvian Nuevo Sol, Polish Zloty, and the Vietnamese Dong.
What’s the Customer Support like at Thrill?
The Thrill live chat was more than fine. I got linked up with a customer service agent in a matter of seconds, asked him eight questions, and he answered all eight more than adequately. I thanked him for his help; he said he is on call to assist us with anything needed, and that made us overall happy with the level of live support.
There is a Thrill Help Center, which consists of content organized in eight general categories totaling twenty-seven articles. The groups these get organized in are – Getting Started, Payments, Gameplay, Contact Us, Account Management, Rewards, Sportsbook, and Thrill Beta Guide, where you can see this brand’s roadmap.
The general help email here is support@thrill.com, and the one to send in grievances is complaints@thrill.com.
Mobile gaming experience
There is no Thrill Casino app, but as you can see from the screenshot provided, Thrill’s website looks great on a smartphone screen. It has the standard bottom screen navigation bar with the section you are currently on highlighted in green.
I feared that some of the text may be a bit small, but it looked fine, though it may have been too thick in places, impacting legibility. I also enjoyed how the BETBY sportsbook lays everything out vertically, so all you have to do is scroll, and you get a good view of everything, as nothing is crammed on screen.
Is Thrill available in any local languages?
For now, this website is only available in English. The staff informed us that there will be translations of the platform interface in the future.
How does Thrill compare against its closest competitors?
Thrill Casino is too young for any valuable direct comparisons with any established crypto players. It has a modern/slick look, a BETBY sportsbook, and an okay gaming library. That makes it competitive in the space, but it had nothing that really made it stand out. It is a bit ungrateful to compare it to any casino, as within months, this platform can look drastically different. When the promos come – and they will – this brand will rank significantly higher.
What countries are restricted from playing?
Individuals who are located in or residing in Australia, the British Virgin Islands, Curaçao, other Dutch Caribbean Islands, Cyprus, the Netherlands, the United Kingdom, or the United States are forbidden to use this site. Such a ban extends to persons who find themselves in any territory where local laws or licensing requirements prohibit them from using offshore sites such as this one. Moreover, people in regions that face embargoes or sanctions by the US, the EU, or the UK are not allowed to access Thrill Casino.
Is Thrill affiliated with or connected to any other crypto casinos?
There is no known evidence of any other sites owned or managed by either Gravity Unleashed B.V. or Thrill Gaming B.V.
Can you buy crypto on-site?
At the time of writing, this was not live. It was greyed out in the cashier window. But per the Thrill roadmap, it should be on hand fairly soon. By the time this analysis finds you, this feature may have already been implemented.
Conclusion
My final verdict is that this is a platform that shows potential with its broad crypto support, good product catalog, BETBY sportsbook, and modern design. That last part is probably the highlight for me regarding this platform, along with the promise of no KYC for most users.
Measures like 2FA, high-end encryption, no max withdrawal caps, and a high level of live chat support suggest a solid start for Thrill is on the way. It has many features planned for implementation and could become a competitive player with time and refinement.
At the time of review, its promotions page was still not live. Obviously, I can’t recommend a crypto casino with no bonuses. Equally, there’s no doubt there will be valuable player offers by the time of a full launch. I did note that challenges will come here quickly, and cash drops are already incorporated as a promo mechanism. The detailed rewards scheme is also ready to go, and it is an acceptable one, as is Curaçao’s Gaming Control Board license, when it comes and when this site stops operating under provisional approval.
All that said, to compete with the top dogs, it will need to add more interface languages, profile responsible gambling tools, include more help articles, detail the country restrictions list, offer some crypto-specific rewards, high-profile progressive games, and more site features. Of course, attractive promos are also needed, as they are the chief bait that makes gamblers sign up with a site.
The BTCGOSU team will look to update this review on or near the public launch date and again a few months post-launch. For now, while the limited info available labels Thrill as above average, I know for sure that this brand is not a scam and offers outstanding potential to grow into a site that fully meets the needs of crypto casino gamblers seeking a safe and enjoyable gaming experience.
Overall, by analyzing its performance across critical trust metrics like regulatory compliance, technical security, banking efficiency, and demonstrable game fairness, our final assessment in the limited access stage positions Thrill Casino as a highly likely solid choice for an operator providing gambling services within the competitive crypto casino landscape
Collectively, we will have to monitor its reputation as it starts accepting players/bettors, as no matter how promising it looks, we will not get a total picture until learning how it deals with customers and what the bonuses are like, and that is an unknown at this point.
Pros:
- Promise of no KYC for most players.
- No deposit rollover.
- Rakeback loyalty system.
- BETBY sportsbook.
Cons:
- No profile responsible gambling tools.
- No multi-language UI.
- No announced standard casino bonuses.
- No operator track record.
