Native Media B.V. operates this online casino, a poker site, and a sportsbook in one. Going by our research, this is a company from the Netherlands with offices in Curacao. Betnomi officially launched in January of 2019 in an attempt to be the first community-owned crypto gambling site. However, after that failed, another iteration appeared in April of 2020, and the current one showed up in October of 2020. Today, it strives to become one of the leading players on the market by continuously improving.

First Impressions

Betnomi features a pretty standard layout for a modern gambling site. However, upon first access, it becomes clear the platform targets the sports betting crowd, as, by default, the domain leads with the sportsbook. The platform needs the drop-down menu option to be available when the desktop browser is full-size for easy navigation. As such, you have to go to the top navigation bar to move around from section to section.

Registration is simple. All you need to do is provide a username, password, e-mail, and accept the terms and conditions. That’s it.

After you complete the sign-up process, we suggest looking around the site and visiting the Telegram group. Know that you should look around, as some promotions become visible after you visit a particular section of the site, which may not be available on the promotions page.

Easy Access

So, is there a Betnomi mobile app? The answer is not yet. However, upon a conversation with the staff, they told us that a Betnomi Android app and one for iOS users are ready and are awaiting approval to get published to their respective stores. So, by the time you are reading this, the apps may be available.

Since we could only use the Betnomi mobile version, we accessed it through our Android phone (Android Pie) via Chrome and faced slow load times and an overall choppy experience. Design-wise, the platform looks fine on a mobile screen, but functionality is an issue. At least it was for us. We could not load a page without waiting a few seconds, and even the banner animations turned in slow-motion.

Resizing your desktop browser window will give you an idea of what the site looks like on a mobile screen, but not fully, seeing as it is not the most responsive page in the world. We would wait for the Betnomi apps before considering playing-on-the-go here.

Deposits & Withdrawals

Betnomi is a crypto casino that allows payments via multiple cryptos. You can look up your balance history on your profile page and see your transaction activity and how much you’ve bet in what section of the platform.

You do so by clicking on the icon of your desired crypto and using the QR code or copying the wallet address. The pop-up window features no additional information, which is weird.

There are no deposits minimum limits here. The amount you place in your account will get credited after the necessary number of network confirmation.

Before making a withdrawal, you’ll have to bet at least 50% of your deposited funds. The site claims that this is to combat money laundering and fraud. The terms state that all payments get processed within 72 hours from when you make a request, and the minimum withdrawal amount depends on your chosen method. For Bitcoin, it is the equivalent of $10 in BTC, and for all other methods, it is $5 or the equivalent in other currencies.

Note that Betnomi does not require that players go through a KYC procedure before a withdrawal. Though, they may have to go through a similar process if they land a jackpot prize.

At the time of writing, there are a few advertised Betnomi promotions, including The Welcome Package and the Bigger Wins deal. Though, when the new version of the site launched, it featured multiple offers, including poker jackpots, drops & wins promotions, and more. Hopefully, some of these make it back onto the platform.

The Welcome Package consists of three bonuses that spread out over your first three deposits and can amount to $1,000 in free playing funds, as well as 300 free spins. VIP Program

Is there a Betnomi VIP Program? Well, there is no such thing listed on the site, and the FAQ page features no reference of one. So, you would assume – no. Yet, when we e-mailed the staff, they said that one exists and that it comes with a dedicated VIP manager. All we had to do is express interest in joining it, and they would make the necessary arrangements. Thus, we wondered how we could become part of a VIP scheme merely by expressing a desire to join.

We didn’t further pursue our investigation due to these red flags. Meaning, an unlisted VIP Program with no set criteria on who can join and no mention of the perks that exist within this system. Aside from a personal account manager. So, we naturally have doubts regarding the credibility of such a scheme.

Betnomi Customer Support

As per schedule, we began examining the Betnomi support options by looking into if there is a live chat or not. However, the curious thing here is that, at the time of writing, there seems to be no Betnomi live chat, even though the contact page claims that one exists, available 24/7. Yet, the icon there is not clickable, and we were unable to find a similar one while on the home page. So, we assume that a live chat is in the books and will launch soon.

There is a message option in your account profile. It doesn’t say to whom you can send one, but we assume that it is the support team since you can only add a subject and body text. We did and didn’t receive a reply in time to add it to this review.

We tested out the e-mail support option by sending a query containing two questions at – support@betnomi.com. We got a satisfactory response in 37 minutes. While we waited, we decided to open the Telegram group, seeing as it is also a Betnomi help option. We answered a math question to prove that we are not a bot and be able to join the group. Once a member, we got ignored.

We have talked extensively in the past about Curacao licenses. While considered by experts as unreliable, these licenses are pretty much the norm in the crypto gambling sphere. Because they are easily obtainable, they are a favorite among operators while adding a sense of credibility. Though, in reality, they offer little player protection. That said, Curacao eGaming is likely the best of the bunch, existing in the industry since 1996. Players from the UK fall under the regulations of the UKGC. After a failed start, the staff has shifted gears, regrouped, and launched an ambitious platform that’s an improvement on previous versions. However, some players have doubts regarding the site’s reputation, though there is far too small of a sample size to draw any conclusion in terms of reliability. We have to say that the site does have issues, and functionality isn’t the best, although its design is decent. Our mobile experience was not terrific, but seeing as the release of the Betnomi mobile apps should happen soon, maybe playing-on-the-go will become a viable option. Though there is not live chat yet, the e-mail support was fast and satisfactory. Overall, the site has potential, but we would take a wait-and-see approach on how it develops before naming them as one of the top addresses for crypto gambling.
