Pragmatic Play Opts for a Christmas Double

Pragmatic Play Becomes the Latest Provider to Deck the Halls

October is here. If you were expecting a flurry of Halloween-themed slots to be doing the rounds right now, you’d be right to. This is the time of year when slot providers dust off those pumpkins and witches’ brooms. However, instead of an influx of spooky-themed Bitcoin slots, most software providers are instead showcasing their upcoming Christmas slots. Yes, Halloween may be first, but Christmas is very much where BTC slot providers are heading with their latest releases right now. As ever, we’ve got two new ones for you to consider, and both are rolling off Pragmatic Play’s assembly line.

Enter Santa’s Wonderland

The first Pragmatic Play Christmas slot to be announced is Santa’s Wonderland. It is being earmarked to debut at cryptocurrency casinos as early as next month. So, what’s underneath the Christmas wrapping? Oddly enough, a rather complicated slot. Most seasonal slots tend to be samey and generic. There’s none of that going on at Pragmatic Play.

Instead, you’re looking at an 8-reel, 20-line game and one that is sporting a non-progressive jackpot worth 7,500x a bet. A highly volatile release, the upcoming Santa’s Wonderland game is a slot with an RTP of 96.23% and plenty of wilds. Beyond that, we’re going to have to wait to see what Santa brings when he arrives at BTC casinos.

Fish Out a Present in Big Bass Bonanza…Again

We have more many details about Pragmatic Play’s other seasonal slot, Christmas Big Bass Bonanza. Pragmatic Play has been a lot less inventive here. What you’re getting is essentially the same game as the original, albeit with bass trussed up in Christmas hats, sleigh bells, crackers, and a frosty frozen lake all part of the décor.

Volatility has been dropped to medium-high for this game, promoting a non-progressive jackpot worth around 2,100x a bet. While we know more about this slot than Santa’s Wonderland (we have even seen the gameplay via demos), you’re going to have to wait longer to play it. Christmas Big Bass Bonanza isn’t set to debut until December at the earliest.

Why So Many Christmas-Themed Bitcoin Slots?

One of the primary reasons why so many Christmas-themed bitcoin slots are being released right now is that providers want to get the jump on their counterparts. However, this seems to be coming at a cost – the lack of Halloween-themed games. There is usually an abundance of them right now, but that doesn’t seem to be occurring. Given the available array of spooky slots that already exist at Bitcoin casinos, there will still be plenty for you to play this month.
