Popular Dice Strategies

GOSU GUIDE

There are many Bitcoin dice strategies available online and they are fairly similar to traditional dice strategies focusing primarily on bet selection and odds. Most strategies focus on identifying patterns and leveraging that information by trying to predict the next most likely outcome. Today we are going to check out a few popular strategies, how they work, and their benefits.

The Martingale Strategy

The martingale strategy is the most popular strategy among gambling players and was popularized in the 18th century in France. It’s one of the simplest strategies out there and can be applied to roulette too.

The strategy: the player starts betting ‘x’ amount as the starting bet, if the outcome is a loss, the player will bet 2x. If the outcome is a win, the player recovers the previous loss and has a profit of ’x’, if the player loses the second bet, a third bet of 4x will have to be placed. The strategy is basically doubling your initial bet amount every time you lose, winning the bet means you are recovering all your previous losses plus a profit of the initial bet amount.

In theory, this might seem like a great strategy but it has a few flaws. First of all, the player ends up risking a lot of money just to win the initial betting amount, for example, after 6 bets, a player is already betting 32x the initial amount just to win ‘x’.

Another issue with this type of strategy is how slow it is, of course, crypto gambling casinos usually have an automatic betting feature that will turn the martingale into a fast bitcoin dice strategy and that’s why we find the Martingale Strategy to be the best primedice strategy.

The Anti-Martingale Strategy

This strategy is similar to the previous one with the only difference that when a player loses, the betting amount is doubled and when he wins, it’s halved. So it is essentially the same strategy but reversed. The assumption of this strategy is that players will eventually hit win streaks and will be able to capitalize on them by doubling their bet. This strategy can lead to huge wins much faster than the martingale strategy but it’s just as risky.

D’Alembert System

The D’Alembert strategy was invented for roulette but works for Dice games too. It is based on a progression after each loss, similar to the two previous strategies. This strategy is safer because your bet only increases by the starting bet amount. For example, if a player is betting 1 BTC and losses, he would need to bet 2 BTC on the next round, a third loss would mean the player has to bet 3 BTC, 2+1, instead of 4 BTC like in the martingale strategy.

This also means that a player won’t be able to always recover his previous losses after winning 1 bet. It is basically a safer strategy with less upside.

Paroli Strategy

The Paroli Strategy is a bit different, players will look to hit three consecutive wins in a row and double the betting amount with each win, similar to the reverse martingale but the player stops raising the base bet after winning three times in a row. The player doesn’t have to raise the betting amount after a loss. This strategy is clearly much safer but also far slower.

The Break-Even Martingale

This strategy is one of the safest strategies and will protect the player against long losing streaks. The idea is to start with any base amount, say 1 BTC, and bet the same amount on the first loss, for example:

  1. The player bets 1 BTC and loses
  2. The player then bets 1 BTC again and loses
  3. The player now bets 2 BTC and wins which would recover all the previous losses but with no extra profit.
