Red Tiger Gaming has a slot portfolio of over two hundred games, but only two have been reviewed by us so far. That is unforgivable. Thus, we have decided to give them a bit more attention. Theme & Design

The theme here is jungle exploration. The game’s two title characters are Nick and Cara, whom Red Tiger has modeled after Lara Croft and Indiana Jones. Though, Nick has a more ruggedly handsome vibe than the character played by Harrison Ford. That is about it when regarding motif, as Wild Expedition features no storyline whatsoever.

Visually, this spinner is decent. It utilizes 2D painterly imagery that boasts some bright colors. There is a nice contrast between unsaturated blues and golden yellows, which we quite liked. The presentation here serves elements from Microgaming’s Immortal Romance and Play’n GO’s Book of Dead. In our opinion, the character design of Wild Expedition is evocative of the first and the winning symbol animations of the second-mentioned product.

Overall, nothing is stunning about this Red Tiger slot. The company has kept things rather basic here, even when it comes to the soundtrack, which is somewhat underwhelming and slightly annoying. Many will disagree, but we found it dull and outdated. The sound effects are equally generic.
