Goal Crash Game Review
Intro
Modern-looking Crash games appear to be slowly showing up more and more in online casino lobbies. Here, we have one developed by Triple Cherry, a product developer from Spain operating out of Valencia, formed in 2018. At the time of writing, Triple Cherry had released fifty-five titles, available at two hundred and fifty casino sites for players in over forty countries. The founders of this company also built up the social gaming brand Akamon, and some of Triple Cherry’s most famous games are Sugar Frenzy, Thunder Rock, and Mayan Waterfalls. They unleashed Goal Crash in late November 2022, a Crash pick that did Okay for the genre in Asia and did not make noticeable waves anywhere else.
How Does Goal Crash Work
Goal Crash works the same way as virtually all choices from this category. A multiplier rises, which can crash at any time. Your job is to collect the on-screen value before the inevitable crash happens. If you do so, you get that multiplier applied to your stake. Goal Crash offers 50% and 100% collect choices, and it is up to you and your instincts to decide when you will grab what you can. After the regular round ends, and if you have snagged a prize, you get an opportunity to boost it through an extra bonus round that follows. We explain everything about the gameplay here below.
How to Play Goal Crash
As described above, Goal Crash is an online multiplayer title where you wager on Busta-bit-inspired gameplay where multiplier values can grow up to x2,500. But, here, additional multipliers of x1, x2, x3, x5, and x10 (only one) can get applied to your base win via a bonus round. The Game Time starts with an x1.00 multiplier, increasing as time passes. In-game rounds, you decide when to collect your bet or hang in there waiting to get a better reward while risking losing your stake. After this round, your player takes a shot on goal en route to you hopefully winning one of the mentioned additional multipliers. Up to four can randomly appear in the goal, and you receive one hit if the kicked ball goes through a hovering multiplier spot. When that happens, that value gets added to your round one.
You can put down two stakes per round before a countdown ends (ten seconds). Once it does, no new bets can be placed/modified. The Confirm Bet button initiates a round, and the auto button allows you to automate up to one hundred rounds in a row. The wager sizes in Goal Crash start at $0.25, and they go up to $20.
Where Can You Play Goal Crash
Goal Crash should be available at Joo Casino. It seems most niche third-party provably fair-style games, get hosted on that site. So, if you are into this type of gaming, and your region is on the allowed Joo Casino list, we suggest you sign up there.
Pros and Cons
Pros
- Bonus round.
- High max win.
- A 50% collect option.
- Two bets per round.
Cons
- High house edge.
- Lacks advanced auto-play functions.
Graphics Quality
We think that this game looks great. It has a look similar to some 2000s PlayStation 2 games we have played. We are unsure what this visual style gets called. The player characters here look like 3D models, boasting exaggerated features and proportions. You have an African player running towards a ball, representing the rising multiplier, which gets displayed over a flaming football. He dashes towards the ball, hitting it when the multiplier crashes, directing it to the goal, where a blonde-haired goalie attempts to defend his strike, stopping the ball from going into the back of the net.
The round countdown gets shown below a hovering stopwatch, with a still image of a packed stadium as the backdrop. We would call the presentation here cartoony and super colorful. We like that the kickers and goalie’s moves have some variety, so game rounds do not feel overly repetitive here. You get some atmospheric stadium sounds, commentator sound bites, and ref whistles that heighten the sense of footie mood in Goal Crash. In short, we love the vibe and look of this Crash title.
User Experience
The UX design of Goal Crash is pretty simple and intuitive. You get a top bar holding your past seven results. And a lower-screen one where you can check the time and your site balance, and a hamburger icon that pulls out a menu that lets you mute the game, allows you to read the rules, go into a full-screen mode, and access a page where you can evaluate your bet history. Above this bar are the two bet panels featuring a Confirm Bet button, an x2 and auto-play one, and an option to set auto-cash-out. Under these wager choices, you have the bet adjuster flanked by two fixed wager sizes on each side.
Tension & Anticipation Value
The presentation here enhances the anticipation value in Goal Crash. And if you win, the extra round amplifies the tension generated, as it supplies extra thrills, with the added chance to gain a more substantial prize. The bonus mode may also supply no payout, dashing your hopes for monetary and virtual sports glory. Hence, we would call the anticipation featured in session here better than average.
RTP & Variability
Triple Cherry states that the variance setting here is adjustable, and the RTP of Goal Crash, according to the rules page, is 94,91% for the base game and 90,01% for the extra round. Yet, at some sites, we saw the return-to-player percentage listed as 95.16%, but we believe this is inaccurate info. Of course, we lean towards the official numbers presented in-game.
Min/Max Multipliers
The lowest multiplier in Goal Crash is x1.00, and the highest is x2,500. However, thanks to the extra round, the max win here stands at x25,000 if you manage to hit the x10 multiplier in the shootout bonus.
House Edge
If the RTP of Goal Crash is 94.91%, then that would make the house edge here 5.09%.
Winning Strategies
There is no special winning tip we can give you for this game. As always, we would say that you should look to take advantage of the 50% cash-out option. And aim for low multipliers, hoping that your win will grow in the bonus round. Do not get greedy, modestly apply betting patterns, and never chase losses in Goal Crash.
Summary – Is Goal Crash Worth It?
GOAL Crash by Triple Cherry is a dynamic football-themed Crash game. Its audiovisual presentation captured our attention when we first played it, and we love that you can make bets as low as $0.25, which is a growing rarity for third-party releases from this category. The bonus round dangling a potential x10 multiplier applied to your base game win spices things up in Goal Crash and can grow the max win here up to $25,000. In our opinion, the theoretical RTP here is relatively low, and along with the lack of modern auto-play functionalities, we would rate these as the two major drawbacks of this gaming product.
In summary, we would say this game offers an engaging experience for football enthusiasts. So, we would recommend it for footie fans despite its low RTP.
